SWISSA success at CIS Touch Football Gala Day

Yesterday, Krystian Papadopoulos (Year 12, St Euphemia College) represented our SWISSA and AICES regions at the NSW CIS Touch Football competition in Penrith. There were 5 associations and AICES, under Krystian's guidance, finished in 2nd place.

In cold, wet, windy and horrible conditions, Krystian's performance was remarkable and he has now been selected to represent the NSW CIS team at the National Youth Touch Football competition in Queensland in September. In this competition, Krystian will compete against state teams from Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT.

What an outstanding achievement for Krystian. His brother Nikolas (Year 10) was also instrumental in yesterday's result for AICES and his performance and support would have had a huge influence in Krystian's selection into the NSW CIS team. We wish Krystian the very best for September.
